REIGN the Foreday band is borne from the TV show Route 10, you can say the two brands are sisters of sort, both are based in St. Philip.
Route 10 was launched on CBC TV 8 in September 2016, a tribute to Barbados' 50th anniversary celebrations.
It focused on the island's largest parish looked at its history, heritage, interesting people and places. The 13-part series was hosted by the 2015 St. Philip Parish Ambassadors Darren Watson and Vanessa Seaton and was based on the The St. Philip Book, written by Folklorist G. Addinton Forde. While season one is expected to be seen in Dominca, St. Vincent and St. Lucia by April, production for season has begun - looking at the culture of the Caribbean through its carnivals and festivals. Look for interviews and performances from established and new and upcoming soca, buyon, reggae and dancehall artistes. But while Route 10 will be covering these events, it will be participating in them through REIGN.
